10 things that make me happy!

I was tagged a little while back from my new blogging friend Johanna at Birds On A Wire to find 10 things that make me happy.  It was actually hard to limit myself to 10....even though I've been a bit on the grouch side this weekend.  So that's a good sign in life right?

1. It makes me happy that my husband is super hot!

Oh and he makes me happy too.  He's pretty good with my crankiness.  I'd like to blame it on the fact that we live where we live but most of the time it's not THAT bad.  I think I'm just normally a bit on the crazy side.  He's so good with me.  And if you know him....you all already know how awesome he is.  It puts a person in awe at times.  But don't tell him that because I don't want his big bald head to grown any more.

2.  This darn cute kid!

Whom I thought I'd never be able to have for awhile there....who makes me laugh, cry and crazy all at once in the best ways.

3.  Pink.

Pink just makes me happy.  Especially with the V-Day coming.  It's the day Hot Husband proposed.

He's all CHEESE like that!

Pink stairs!  I mean come on.  I want in on that pink stairs ACTION!!

4.  Black and white decor.

There is just something about black and white patters that I just am DRAWN too!

I'm just convinced that punches of crazy black and white patterns makes the world go round.

And I feel like you can make any room colorful around it and It. Just. Works.

5.  Sandwiches.  Holy crow I could eat sandwiches all the bloody day long.  Hot Husband asked me what my favorite meal is.  (He's planning to make supper)  I told him sandwiches.  And this weekend I'm craving them with chips.  I don't ever really eat chips unless the HH brings them home.  But I like 'em with a great sandwich.

{AND I'll probably have a sandwich for Breaky.  No jokes.}

6.  Design, art and all matters of creativity.

I'm actually having a weekend of regrets of what I SHOULD have done when I was a bit younger.  I'm frustrated with not being able to produce what I want.  *sigh*  I think it will just take time to learn what I missed out on.  And though I should have kept going in school {like I had felt prompted to do} I know my path is the right one still and I'm still young enough to learn.  We're never really too old to do new things.  {Right Mom?}

7.  Taking and editing photos.  I'm not a photographer.  I shoot mostly in automatic with the flash off.  I don't even know how to edit properly.  I can't give any advice.  But I just love to do it.

8.  Journaling.  Writing in journals, here on my blog and just writing the way I am...makes me the happiest.  And it helps calm my mind when it's craziness gets out of control.   And it's you know....my thing.  I have lots of things I'd LOVE to be great at and try to do.  But journals and writing for myself....you can't really go wrong with that.

9.  Meags and Bus Boy doing the cover "Here Comes Your Man"

PS- Her version is on the soundtrack to 500 Days of Summer which I've rented on iTunes and now 9 hours later I'll get to watch it tonight.

10.  Blogs.  I'm a BLOG - ER!   It's a hobby.  It's a lifeline of a girl who moves around a lot.  It's an outlet.  It's blissful.  It's friends.  It's inspiring.  It's a world that some think it so dorky and loser-ish because they aren't "Bloggers" and you really need to be a true blogger to get it.  It keeps me sane.  It keeps me feeling in the loop.  It keeps me trying creatively.  It's taught me a lot about me.

And of course with that I love comments and followers.  I've had people ask why that matters.  But doesn't everyone love an email, a snail mail letter, a phone call, or some sort of recognition that people remember you exist?  And not only that....that they are there too.  I want to know you're there.  I love to hear thoughts.  It keeps me blogging.  It keeps me blogging often.  And it keeps me company.

I'd love to tag certain individuals to do this but if you saw my list of blogs that I follow it's hard to just pick a few.  So if you do it....please come back and tell me or email me so I can see the 10 things that make you happy.  Or tell me if you love some of what I love.

No I'm not begging for comments.  I'm not doing that anymore.  I mean *cough*  sheeeeeesh! ;)

Age is a state of mind, it has nothing to do with how long you have been here on the planet. For all you young girls out there who are wishing you had done something different, or done more with your talents or desires, it really is never too late to do something you are passionate about. I started university at the age of 38, after Kristi started school (she was my youngest and therefore my baby:) So yes Kristi, you are right, we are never too old to do something new. My next major project is to learn to play the piano, I just sort of need a piano first to get started.

We love so many of the same things! Except I would have to replace your hot husband with my hot fiance. He's also pretty good with my crankiness. : )
